I can't say enough about your work. Shortly after leaving the japanese restaurant, Timothy and I were discussing you to his family in New Hampshire, trying to explain what it is that you do. HIs family had seen you on a television program already and were excited we had met. How lucky for NH to have discovered you.

Yes, as Jason mentioned, the Lego exhibit at the SEE Science Center is a must-see!
Other offbeat places of note to round out your visit... because they wouldn't normally be thought of as interesting: 1. A local small farm stand which is very nice (Google Street view link: http://tinyurl.com/yjnlvy4 ) 2. The Firing Line gun range at 50 Gay St. in south Manchester (no street view). 3. Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream on Elm St. (You may want to take a trip to the factory in Vermont while you're here.) 4. Red Arrow Diner- you painted it, now definitely go there for a meal! 5. Apple & Pumpkin picking. 6. No Vegas-like strip here, but there is high-stakes Bingo in a few places. ;) 7. Manchester Airport- check it out. There are even some neat shops in there.

You should check out the manchester, nh historical society website. They have an online archive of pictures and paintings and history of the city and the mills. Also, while your in town, they have a millyard museum, and also the lego display of the mill yard at the see science center.

Hope you stay safe and dry this weekend...we are supposed to get a LOT of rain on Saturday! But, that means that Amoskeag Falls should be very impressive on Sunday and Monday. There is a good overlook near the PSNH building on Commercial St.

I am happy to report that Pandora is being renovated, for business and restaurant use (or so the newspapers tell us). The trees and shrubs that grew up on her roof are gone, and the lovely tower has a beautiful new copper roof.

I was so happy to find this site. I was born in 1950 at the Notre Dame Hospital back then and grew up on the west side of Manchester until I got married in 1968. Looking at where I grew up back then and to how it is today breaks my heart. Thanks for touching my heart with the good memories. Also, I use to frequent Fritzie's as a child. Again, Thanks.

I live in Londonderry, a small town next door to Manchester. I love your paintings, especially this one of the churches! I hope you can see the true city of Manchester someday.

Some parts of Manchester used to be Nutfield, but most of the old town of Nutfield is now the towns of Derry and Londonderry. Manchester was originally called Derryfield.
