LET'S GO TO MANCHESTER NEW HAMPSHIRE!

Depuis mai 2007, "Google street view" permet de naviguer dans
certaines rues, pour l'instant uniquement américaines, en proposant des
images panoramiques prises au niveau du sol...
Je découvre l'existence de la ville de MANCHESTER dans le NEW HAMPSHIRE.
C'est
la plus petite agglomération du "réseau Google street"...Pas de
clichés, pas d'images vues et revues genre NEW YORK ou LOS
ANGELES...Rien !...
Une ville à taille humaine?
Pour l'instant je n'en sais rien...

Since
May , 2007, "GOOGLE STREET VIEW" allows to navigate in certain streets,
at the moment only american, by proposing panoramic images taken at
ground level.
I discvover the existence of the city of MANCHESTER in NEW HAMPSHIRE.
It's the smallest conglomération of the Google network.
No clichés...No images seen and seen again like NEW YORK or LOS ANGELES...
Nothing.
Is the city human-sized?
At the moment i know nothing about it.

Je me demande bien pourquoi le petit bonhomme jaune de google m'a "déposé" ici...au milieu de cette route...
Est-ce le centre géographique de la ville?...pas de commerces, pas de passants...pas d'envie de rester ici...
Je pars au hasard à la recherche du "vrai" centre.
I indeed wonder why the small google yellow chap dropped me on this road?...Is it the geographical center of the city?...
No reason to stay here. I leave at random in search of the true center.

Béton, parkings et 4x4 démesurés...pas de vie, personne...Quelle heure est-il ? peut-etre qu'il est tot et que les google cars n'aiment pas photographier l'humain...
Concrete, car parks and 4x4 cars disproportionate...No life...Nobody...what's the time?...Perhaps it's early in the morning and google cars do not like photographing the human being.

Les
voies de bridge st sont étonnament désertes! On pourrait stationner au
milieu de la route et admirer la vue panoramique sur la ville.
The
ways of bridge st are strangely deserted! We could stand in the midst
of the road and admire the panoramic sight on the city.
MANCHESTER NH, Merrimack river.
A
peine 3 ou 4 buildings à l'horizon tandis que d'immenses bâtiments en
briques rouges s'étalent de part et d'autre de la rivière Merrimack.
Hardly 3 or 4 high rises on the horizon whereas huges brick-built red blocks spread out on both sides of the Merrimack river.
